Tegenwoordig lijkt het of we leven in een ‘rationele’ tijd, een tijd van overvloedig denken.

Politici, economen en zakenmensen denken in cijfers, waar aan ze zich vasthouden.

Menig kunstenaar beperkt zich tot een stijl, één stijl.

Zelf werk ik als kunstenaar vanuit een tegenovergesteld concept.

Mijn kunst is zonder ‘stijl’, zonder vaste herkenningspunten, eenvoudig en toch vernieuwend.

Het gebruik van verschillende technieken en materialen versterkt de puurheid van het resultaat.

Ik leef in de schaduw van morgen, beperk me niet tot één enkele uitgangspositie,

en treed niet graag in herhaling.

Mijn werken representeren een weerspiegeling van mijn visie, waarin het proces centraal staat, niet de perfectie van het eindproduct.

De werken zijn het gevolg van ideën op on-bepaalde momenten.

De verhalen, die ik verbeeld, zijn vatbaar voor individuele interpretaties.

Want kunst is en blijft kunst.

Today it appears that we live in a rational time, a time of over-abundant thinking.

Politicians, economists, and businessmen think in terms of numbers, tightly clinging to them.

Many artists reduce their expression to a style, only one style.

As an artist I personally work from an opposite concept.

My art is without “style”, without rigid points of recognition; it is simple, yet renewing.

The use of various techniques and materials reinforces the purity of the result.

I live in the shadow of tomorrow, I do not limit myself to just one starting position, and I do not like repetition.

My work represents a reflection of my vision, in which the process is of central importance, not the perfection of the end product.

My pieces are the result of ideas from un-specific moments.

The stories that I depict are suitable to individual interpretation.

Because art is and will be art.
